In Passing
In Passing is a photo book made from images taken during a 24-hour bus journey from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires, Argentina, which I travelled with my mum. The project became a quiet collaboration, with my mum contributing text alongside my photographs.
I bound the book by hand using chain stitching, leaving the spine exposed to reflect the process-led nature of the work. The photographs, all taken through the bus window, document fleeting landscapes and moments that exist between departure and arrival. Together, the images and text reflect on connection, movement and the shared act of looking out at the world in passing.
